Weather Closings
Below are the guidelines for canceling church services and committee meetings due to inclement weather.
Sunday Morning Service Cancellation
On Sunday mornings, our church service may be canceled if a Level 2 or Level 3 alert for White County is issued between 8 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. Sunday. If such a situation arises, the announcement of the service cancellation will be communicated through WMRS radio's website under "cancellations" or by calling 1 (800) 261-7623. Additionally, updates will be posted on our church's Facebook page.
Information about the closure will also be broadcast on TV stations, such as WLFI TV 18 and WTHR TV 13. For further details, viewers can click "Weather" and "Closings and Delays." Furthermore, we will send "One Call Now Alert" to all church members.

Church Committee Meetings Cancellation
Our committee team leader will have the authority to decide if the meeting will be canceled, emphasizing a conservative approach in their decision-making process. In cases where the conditions suggest snow or ice, the meeting will be canceled.
However, if the area is cleaned before the meeting, the committee leader will assess the situation and make the final decision. If canceled, meetings can be rescheduled for another time or held the following Sunday after the worship service.

Church Office Closing
If Twin Lakes School Corporation is experiencing a two-hour delay, staff should try to get to the office when they can. They should call the office and leave a message about their intended arrival. If the Twin Lakes School Corporation is closed, staff should call if they're going to be late or cannot make it in at all. Staff should not take unnecessary risks when getting to the church. We ask you to use your judgment when making this decision.
